Second, you will want to rent your timeshare out for one of the two weeks for each year. You should be able to get between $1,000 and $2,000 for the week depending on the destination and the size of your timeshare. You can use craigslist to find someone to rent it or you can go ahead and put a classified ad in the paper.

Last, you can use the money from the rental to pay for your timeshare and, then it will be paid off sooner and not out of your own pocket. Imagine, making money each year and vacationing each year as well. This is the way it should be and you can go ahead and have your vacation and make your money too.
