RCI Timeshares
The world's largest timeshare vacation exchange company is Resort Condominiums International (RCI). They have added the RCI
points program to their arsenal along with their normal fixed week plans. This gives anybody that owns one of many RCI
timeshares much more flexibility. This means that you are no longer limited to one destination or the typical Sunday to
Saturday week. You can even break your vacation up into a couple of smaller trips if you want to.
RCI has locations in over 100 countries which means that you can trade in your time at your location towards time at another
destination. This gives you the flexibility to visit many different destinations instead of the same old place every year.
This program allows you to choose the time, duration, and the destination of your vacation and you can even trade some of
your points for airfare, tours, car rentals, and cruises. You are also allowed to transfer your points to someone else, sell
your points, rent your points, and roll them over for the following year.
When you convert your normal timeshare weeks into RCI points you don't give up any ownership at all. You are just getting a
second set of options to give you the flexibility that you need to travel to other destinations, stay at other resorts, and
have a better experience with your timeshare.
If you need more points for any specific year because you want to take a second vacation or a longer vacation, then you can
buy points. You can find points for sale on eBay and through the timeshare network. This allows you to vacation as much as
you want while keeping the resort atmosphere on each trip.
However, there is a second network of timeshares that does not work on a points basis. They have a flexibility option that
is even better than the RCI timeshares points option. They allow you to trade your week or weeks for a week or weeks at
another resort on their network for a small fee of $100 to $300 depending on the destination and the time of the year.
