Last, you get your annual credit report once a year for free anyway so why not take a look and know what your situation is. You can write any of the three credit bureaus (Experian, Equifax, or Trans Union) to get your credit report. You can also get it online at many different website. If you are ever turned down for financing the letter they send you to tell you that you were turned down will also allow you to get your credit report for free.
